OH! I should have mentioned this yesterday

Published 2 months ago • 3 min read

Hey Reader,

Yesterday I sent out an email to let you know our Spring bookstore opening is LIVE! We have several new items including a dress of the quarter and two new classic reprint books!

But I had a few emails asking about my latest cookbook. We had originally slated it to come out in the Spring of 2024. However, with being pregnant now and so sick, we decided to move back the launch of this cookbook.

As of now, we have this cookbook slated to come out in our Christmas shop. Cookbook volume #4 which will release at Christmas is our sourdough cookbook! I know this is a long-anticipated arrival, so thank you for being patient as we work hard on it 😍

✨But if you are wanting to learn how to cook healthier food, from scratch meals without spending your entire life in the kitchen...then I have good news for you!

You don't have to wait until our sourdough cookbook comes out to gain more skills in the kitchen and expand your selection of incredible recipes. I'll tell you more about our cookbook series below.

But first, make sure you head over and check out our Spring Bookstore opening! So many great things to order for a limited time. But hurry, the shop closes Wednesday, March 6th!

My cookbook series

I came into marriage with ZERO cooking skills. I didn't know a single thing about cooking, grocery shopping, meal planning or ANYTHING.

Those early years were an uphill battle trying to learn it all. But slowly I started gaining a few valuable skills in the kitchen.

A few years later, I started learning about the junk in our food, how processed everything is, and what it means to cook healthy. I was very interested in learning how to cook from scratch but I constantly found myself running into 1 of 2 problems:

  1. The cookbooks I was finding that were "healthy", were some weird 90s version of healthy that just focused on low fat everything and ignored true health.
  2. OR the cookbooks were so over the top hard to do, that I couldn't figure out a way to incorporate it into my daily life. Trying to cook or eat healthier doesn't help if you can't figure out how to do it, where to get the ingredients, or how to find to the time to do any of it!

So my cookbook series was born out of the desire to fix those two things. I spent 10 years trying to figure out how to do this in my own kitchen as a busy homeschool mom of 7.

I don't have hours to spend every day in the kitchen, but I also wanted to figure out how to feed my family well, on a budget, with real life time.

My cookbook series revolves around doing all of that! If you are just starting out, I recommend starting with volume 1, it's a terrific beginner's resource (but PLENTY of gold for the more experienced cook)!

Learn How to Cook From Scratch

This is so much more than a cookbook. It's an entire guide, teaching you how to cook from scratch (in very simple, easy ways) and build up a bulk pantry. PLUS lots of delicious, healthy, family favorite recipes.

If you've ever wished that you could unlock the hearty, real food way that your great-great grandmother would have cooked, then this one of a kind cookbook is for you!

(and NO, you don't have to buy ingredients in bulk to take full advantage of this cookbook. You also don't have to grind your own grains - although I will try to convince you that it's best!

From Scratch Pantry Staples

Cookbook volume 2 is for anyone looking to save money in their kitchen and/or make the healthiest, most amazing pantry staples from scratch...in the simplest way!

You are going to find 119 recipes for making ALL the things you want in a from scratch kitchen pantry. You'll make the healthiest, most delicious creations (many of them in 5 minutes or less)!

The cookbook is part recipes and part teaching guide. Just like in the first cookbook, this volume gives you all the knowledge and teaching you need to know as well!! Here's what we cover:

Everyday Hospitality & Special Occasions

The goal of this cookbook is to help you serve and love others through hospitality...but I'm going to make all the food easy for you!

This groundbreaking cookbook is the only one you'll ever need for hosting. Instead of recipes broken up into main dishes, sides, and desserts, the cookbook is sorted by occasion.

Hosting Thanksgiving dinner? Just flip open to the Thanksgiving recipes and you'll have everything you need. Need some appetizers? The Super Bowl party section gives you tons of recipes and ideas. Looking for brunch recipes? The Mother's Day Tea section has your back!

This is so much more than a cookbook. It will guide you through the process of hospitality, planning menus, figuring out what to serve for guests, learning how to serve your own family more with great food, and help you serve food for guests with allergies.

This week you can order all of my cookbooks in print (and you get the digital version for free too so you can INSTANTLY start looking through the cookbooks when you purchase)!

If you have any questions, just let me know!

You can check out our Spring shop opening HERE!

But hurry, print orders are only open through March 6th!
