PHEW!! A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in our digital store closing sale this past week. You guys made it a huge success and it is such a big blessing to our family.

I've had many of you very curious as to what is next for us. I had one gal super worried because she lives overseas and relies in our digital content. I had someone worried that we were shutting down our business and more.

​

I wish I could give you all the details RIGHT NOW for what's coming next, but we are deep in the creation and organization of everything right now and I want to wait until we have something substantial to SHOW you about what's coming.

​

Because...We have a new secret project launching March 11th. ✨ Over the next 18 days, I’ll be sharing sneak peeks and starting to trickle out the details of this new project as we countdown.
​
Today I wanted to give you a little peek into our heart behind our business here at Finding Joy in Your Home. I started blogging in 2009, the same year we got married. I learned a lot and in 2012, I launched my blog Young Wife’s Guide. This eventually turned into Finding Joy in Your Home, and has spawned a couple of podcasts, 10 years of online conference, and everything we do here today.

Running an online business can be a wild ride and one that you have to pay attention to trends, changing online habits of our customers, and what works well still in the present year.

As 2024 dawns, it’s clear that the online marketplace is changing in big ways. Digital products are changing, the ways in which we consume content is changing, and how we can best serve our audience is changing.
​
In March, we are making a big change to the way we provide content and valuable resources to our audience. It’s a change we’ve wanted to make now for years but the technology wasn’t available (that wasn’t $50,000 anyway)!
​
We have a few goals with these new changes:
✨ Streamline and make content super easy to find and engage with
✨ Simplify what we offer so you can always know what’s coming!
✨ Provide digital resources in an exceptional way (new ways to listen to podcasts and audiobooks hint hint)
✨ Cut the noise and the clutter online so you can directly find the resources & encouragement that will help you in your home and to glorify God

Tomorrow’s day #17 countdown will show a small peek of some changes coming. It's going to be a fun month!!

Our Spring Bookstore Opening is coming NEXT WEEK!!

We've been so focused on closing down our digital shop and launching our new project that I haven't even mentioned when our next bookstore opening would be.

​

We won't have as many new products in this store (but we do have a few!!). We WILL have a new spring dress in this drop and a couple of new Christian classic reprints.

​

I'll share the dresses and the books next week! The bookstore is tentatively scheduled to open on Wednesday, Feb. 28th and will be open for one week. I'll give you updates next week!

NEW: Website coming soon!! PHEW! Talk about the project that never ends 😅 We are in the midst of a massive website redo that will be amazing once finished! Our last website design was done in 2015 and it's time for some MASSIVE updates. The reason why you will care about this: is we are reworking ALL of our resource guides, adding more free amazing resources and you'll be easily able to find everything you need! This should be launching sometime around our secret project which will be fun! ​
